State of Emulation on N3DS?

Hey everyone! I've been a wololo reader for years, and have recently hacked my Vita to good results. However, I can no longer download my games and my memory card is almost maxed out. The new tutorials about hacking the N3DS have me wondering if I could have my cake (and eat it, too)
I'm a sucker for old-school gaming. I know that, as of a few months ago, Genesis was full speed. How about Sega CD? As for SNES, are the special chips up to speed now? I'd love to give Super MARIO RPG a play! How about GBA? Some definite classics on there!
How is PSOne and PSP emulation coming along? I know that's unintuitive since I have my Vita, but there's a certain "look what I can do!" appeal hahaha These ones aren't deal breakers for me, since I'm more interested in 8 and 16-bit games.
Just seeing what's out there. Any experience would be greatly welcome and appreciated!
Thanks!
~Chris
