3ds hack in the works

Post by Xing » Tue Jan 29, 2013 1:38 am

Just not for Vita :P

Seems like the people over at the 3DS side seem to have something going on.
Now I know some people like to join in some console wars BUT you can go start that
somewhere else.

I think there will always be room for 2 handhelds, at least for me. Looks like I'll have something
to do while waiting for more games to come out for Vita.

Re: OMG REAL CFW IN THE WORKS

Wow, that could be quite awesome.

However I really have no idea what it means. I got that there was a game, with a save vulnerability, but the last bits sounded like s/he was saying that a custom firmware was a no go.

So, what "can" this do? Is it just a steping stone so they can learn more about the 3DS? Is it possible to do a full custom firmware? Or will it just open it up like the NDS, and make you boot from a flashcard?

Lol title wasn't misleading, it is cfw.

Anyway, I am assuming that it is like PS Vita's save exploits, you get a game, load a save,
and it will let you install cfw, only difference is that the game is sold at retail stores.

They said that there was no release soon because Nintendo will probably just patch it but I guess
it is pretty much a stepping stone.

Now I'm wondering what can be fully hacked faster, taking release dates in consideration, Vita or 3DS.

Actually it is, you put this in the Vita section and named it CFW in the works.
I'm in your forum, crushing your dreams.

Can someone please explain why you are reading this.

Nice

I'd go out and buy a 3DS XL if this is successful. While the Vita has a lot of great homebrew potential (if it gets blown open), the 3DS , in my opinion, rivals that with the dual screens and the stereoscopic 3D. Plus, the cat-and-mouse game isn't as intense with Nintendo :P
-PSP 3000 (03g): 6.61 PRO-C2
-PSP go (05g): 6.61 PRO-C2
-PCH [PS VITA] 1001: OFW 3.XX

The only difference from sony and nintendo cat and mouse is the vita has to be activated through an account versus the 3DS does not need to be activated to use the 4.5 exploit through profile =D
Game On!
