Post by jovita85 » Mon Oct 27, 2014 9:31 pm

In this tutorial, I will teach you how to install and use the MT-card on your Nintendo 3DS.

You will need :
- The archive update available on : http://www.mt-card.com
- A MT-Card
- A 3DS / 3DS XL between version 4.1 and 4.5

Installing and updating the MT-Card can be done through these three steps:
- Installation of the blue cartridge
- Installation of launcher.dat & cheat.dat
- Installation of the hardware upd

Step 1: Install the blue cartridge:

1. Start by opening the zip update file. Inside should be BlueCard.rar (if there isn’t such file, it must be downloaded from the website of MT-Card).
2. Open BlueCard.rar
3. Drag all the contents inside the folder to the micro sd using your PC.
4. This will complete the installation of the Blue Card.

Step 2: Install of Launcher.dat & cheat.dat:

1. As before, open the archive and the folder of your sd card.
2. Slide Launcher.dat and cheat.dat files to your micro sd using your PC.
3. Put the SD card into the console.

Step 3: Hardware update:

1. Connect the yellow MT-Card to a free USB port on your PC using a micro usb cable.
2. Extract the MT_Card_Updater.exe file that can be found in the archive.
3. Run it and when asked if you are sure, click yes.
4. Wait for the update to be finished.
You are now ready to use your MT card.

How to use:
In order to use your MT-card, just put the blue card in your 3DS and launch MT_Installer.nds
Then go to Settings and then Nintendo DS profile and wait. You should be able to see the 3DS homebrews and applications you putted in your sd card. Press "Select" button or the mt-card to choose a homebrew.

Cool tutorial but you must have an old card since the new ones are white. Also you should include letting people know updates are found on the download tab under NEWS on the MT-card website. You did not even explain how to use the emu NAND first you backup the the sd files then you format the emu NAND. The most important thing to know is you want to make sure the system settings says MT 4.5XX my advice disable all network connections delete all spots and switch up the lever to disable for good. Also do not forget how the emulated NAND does not work on the latest firmware. Mt card does not support smash bros 3ds for now and virtual console GBA games off of eshop roms
