Isn't core .onion a search engine? I don't really know any other besides directories like Hidden Wiki, but that's down.

I've done enough looking around the onion network and found some of the... *BLAHHHHHHHH* (me puking) sites.
a bit of a gamechanger though for people who want to have privacy on a public network.

Oh, is that what a directory is? I really thought it was something else.

Alright, I'll look at it.

Well, directory is sort of like a search engine. I actually thought Core .onion was a search engine, but directories just list a ton of .onion site available.

*find

I found out this site where there's a list of many .onion sites, but please don't read the 1st category of .onion sites.
Here
I haven't tested any, and I don't think I will anytime soon. Because it takes 30m to download the torbrowser, not worth it...

Also, strange that when I add the .to on some of the .onion sites, it gives me a 404 error in adf.ly site :?

There's a way you can browse these sites without the Tor browser, with something like: http://tor2web.org/

I tried the wiki with the .to, it worked. I guess they blocked onion routing (?) for some states/cities.
