confused about jailbreaking ps 3

I have a super slim ps3 model number CECH-4001B. Can it be hacked? I see tons of videos on youtube but I want to be sure and not brick my system. Thanks.

As trunk208 said ODE's are the only way to run any homebrew on 3000/4000 systems at the moment. If you were to ask me though I would personally advise against ODE's. They work somewhat well, but support is dying out from all of the teams and I'm not sure how well the ODE's work on the latest dashboards, (I know some work without any trouble but there are some motherboards which will not work with an ODE installed). I had a CECH-4001B with Cobra ODE installed the since the day it was first released and it's been a hassle since update 4.55. Just do what I did, sell your console and buy a jailbroken/jailbreakable console. Much better than an ODE with super limited support for homebrew.
