Through this tutorial, you will learn how to run all ps3 backup games without having a game in the disc reader. This will be help people who have a not working disc reader.
For this tutorial, your game must be already copied to your internal HDD and have a USB device connected (external hard disk or USB key used to create a fake bluray).
This tutorial is tested and approved on cfw 4.46 Rogero.
1-Download IRISMANAGER : https://www.mediafire.com/?gsyde859lk7d6xx
2-Install Iris Manager to your PS3 by putting it on a USB and then install it using the "install pkg files" in the games tab in the XMB.
3-Launch Iris Manager.
3-Press "start", then click "Tools", click on "Without BDVD Controller" to move it to "Disc-less payload".
4-You will be returned automatically to XMB.
5.Launch Iris Manager again then on the icon of the game press "select", choose "Mount BDVD" for BDEMU and "On" for ext/dev_hdd0/game.
6-"Save"
7-Launch the game.
8-You will be returned to the XMB and you will have 2 bluray of your game, one called "GAME" and the second called "the name of your game," launch the second.
9-The game should launch normally now (if your game still does not work, try putting ext/dev_hdd0/game "OFF").
Attention :
-Make sure to not emulate games with Multiman before, otherwise there will be a conflict!
-Never remove the last emulated games.
For CFW 4.50 Rogero : youcan intall the newer version off Iris Manager which recognizes the external hard drive and is able to directly launch games.
