Hi.
This tutorial is for people who brick their console while downgrading from 3.55 to lower frimwares or installing cfw.(but maybe it works for others too,just try it yourself)
just follow these steps:
1.put your console in recovery mode

With the PS3 off (power light should be red), touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the 1st beep that shows the PS3 is powering on.
Continue to hold the power button, and after about 5 seconds you will hear a 2nd beep.
Continue to hold the power button and after 5 more seconds you'll hear a 3rd beep, and system will power off (Power light goes red).
Release power button.
Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the 1st beep, again for PS3 power on.
Continue to hold and after about 5 seconds you will hear the 2nd beep.
Continue to hold and after 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release power button.[/spoiler]
The recovery mode won't show up for bricked consoles and the console will shut down.But you should do the steps(activating recovery mode procedure) anyway.
2.Format a usb flash drive and put first lv2diag.self( http://www.mediafire.com/download/v8vs6 ... 2diag.self ) and ofw 3.55 ( https://mega.co.nz/#!vMNwRCwZ!Wo_mWlu_1 ... NDyA6ZJRgQ ) in the root directory of your usb stick.
3.now inset the usb stick in the right port of the ps3(because it's the nearest one to the drive) and turn on the system.
4.the screen will remain dark for about 10 minutes and then it will shut down itself(if it took more than 15 minutes then turn it off yourself)
5.Now turn the ps3 on and you'll see the recovery screen.now inset the usb in your pc and remove everything.then put the second lv2diag.self ( http://www.mediafire.com/download/07is2 ... 2diag.self ) in it.
6.turn off the ps3 and insert the usb stick.(make sure it's on the right side)
7.turn on the ps3 and it will turn off itself.now turn it on again and enjoy an unbricked console.
