Hello this guide will teach you how to share your psn catalog with 2 other people on top of the usual 1 giving you a total of 4 ps3s that can be playing content off your psn account.
Step 1. You'll want to deactivate all ps3s that are currently attached to your account through the ps3 menu while signed in to your account.
This can be found under psn>account management>system activation>ps3 system>game> deactivate system
Step 2. Hand out your login information for the account you wish to share with the 2 people you are sharing with (hopefully trustworthy).
(Side note: Make sure to let them know to keep auto sign in and save password unchecked)
Step 3. Have them login to your account on their ps3s and download everything they want (they won't be able to log back in later) and put all downloads into the background and then log out while the downloads are still going in the background.
Step 4. Tell the 2 you are sharing with to switch to their own profile and login. Downloads should continue to download in the background. Make sure to let them know to never log back in to your account or they will lose all content they've downloaded.
Step 5. Go to this site https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwor ... gin.action and login to the account you are sharing (the one you handed out).
Step 6. Go to Account > Media Devices and then click on "Game" and click "Deactivate All
Step 7. Click Yes
Done!!
You may now reactivate your console and 1 other console like normal using step 1 except selecting activate rather than deactivate.
Side Notes
This can only be done once per 6 months regularly due to the deactivate all feature being limited to once every 6 months. You may contact customer service to have them deactivate all at an earlier date which will allow you to share with 2 more people each time you do it. In that sense you can you share with as many people as you want using this method.
