1) Unplug your dongle if you have one (TrueBlue, Cobra, ...)
2) Eject the Blu-Ray disc from the player, if there is one.
3) Download CFW 3.55 v3.7 by Rogero: http://www.clictune.com/id=113651 and check the MD5 with MD5 checksum (http://www.clictune.com/id=113657) (if you are on ofw / cfw below 3.55, you must first install the ofw 3.55 before installing 3.55 Rogero v3.7).
4) Rename it to PS3UPDAT.PUP and put it on a usb key in PS3\UPDATE
5)Plug the USB key into the usb port on the console
Press the ON / OFF button until the ps3 turns off and then re-press it to enter into recovery mode, then connect a joystick, go to system update, press start + select and install. (no Blu-Ray in drive!)
6) Download and install the QA Flag (ToggleQA) : http://www.logic-sunrise.com/forums/fil ... toggle-qa/
7) After hearing 3 beeps or 2, go to "Network Settings" and press at the same time on R1, R2, L1, L2 and L3 (the left stick) and immediately after pressing and holding press the down arrow
8) You will see appear "Eddy Viewer ", " Install Package Files" and "Debug Settings" You can now delete the homebrew Toggle_Qa xmb , no need to keep it to leave the qa_flag enabled!
9) Insert your USB key always on the most right port.
Start Multiman , press "select + start" , go ps3root , select any file on your ps3, press circle , select " Open With Hex Viewer" , press select, press start , respond no, and again no.
When he asks you " Do you want to export FLASH memory to a file" , select "Yes"
10) Repeat this process 3 times (start, no, no ... ) for 3 dumps in case they would not be the same.
11) Make sure you have 3 " dumps " on your USB key
12) Choose and download your next cfw 4.XX (checking the MD5) :
