It took me too long to get the SteamOS to install on a flash drive so I'll just let the installation run overnight. If I have time before work tomorrow I'll test it then, if not I'll post results tomorrow evening.

I doubt this is the issue but the keyboard I've been using is the same one from my raspi. Raspi is really small and it's power source doesn't deliver enough power for a full keyboard so I use a really tiny one about the size of a small smart phone. Worst case you could try something like that?

This is the exact one I have, similar cheaper ones should also work just fine though: http://www.amazon.com/FAVI-FE02RF-BL-Wi ... ge_o04_s00

I highly doubt that is the error as I said, I just wanted to share with you what I can say is 100% working for me. May be something to look into if all else fails.

Oh hold on, after testing my PS4 again I found something out. Make sure your Keyboard is plugged in before loading loading linux. My keyboard wouldn't work either initially, had to restart my PS4 and load the files again.

Also about SteamOS, got it installed on a flash drive working fine on my laptop but the PS4 can't find a bootable partition on it. Oh well, not a big deal at this point since the network won't really work for most of us.

And please someone else give it a try, maybe I just royally scr..ed something up/suck at installing this. I should've started off booting Ubuntu since that's been proven to work but at the moment I'm saying SteamOS is a no go. For now.

HarmfulMushroom don't worry, you didn't mess anything up. Steam OS isn't working for me either, and I did everything correctly. For you, it just hangs at '-c DEV Reopen stdio to DEV after switch' right?
