How to dump PSN games with Vitamin?

Post by udkultimate » Thu Feb 16, 2017 9:26 pm

Hello folks.

I have a PS Vita 3.60 Firmware, installed the latest Henkaku, and I am enjoying this portable device too much, so that I think it`s the best handheld gaming device I ever owned.

I had purchased some PSN games before Sony blocked Henkaku access to PSN Store. So now I want to install these games on my little brother`s PS Vita (which aswell has Henkaku installed).

How can I dump these games from my PS Vita to my brother`s. I can copy it via ftp to my computer, then copy the game folder to my brother`s PS Vita, but the problem is how to make it install on my brother`s console, to make the buble icon appear there and install?

I don't expect spoon-feeding an answer is entirely necessary, as Vitamin contains the simple instructions on how to do so within the text file downloaded along with the app.

Of course you'd need to use Vitamin, you can't just FTP the game's files over and expect it all to work. Vitamin sorts the various files with the database & registry of the Vita. It doesn't just copy over the game's files.
I can't remember clearly weather it's possible to transfer cartridge based games & convert them into digital with Vitamin, but it might be possible now. Either way, just follow the basic instructions that come in a text file along with the app. If not, just press buttons until it does something, because it's not difficult.
Once Vitamin has converted the PSN games to VPK format, find the newly created VPK and put the VPK file on your brother's Vita (through FTP).

Very thin line between piracy on this topic, so it's being locked. I've said enough; and if you still don't get what to do, then that's too bad.
