If you modified your original one (replaced for CEX2DEX for example) then you should have made a backup of it.

@avto japaridze : You also still have the solution to reinstall full firmware 3.60 through "Safe mode" menu with a PC and QCMA. See a tutorial here (sorry but it is in french, you should be able to find easily other tutorials in your own language):
http://www.customprotocol.com/undergrou ... ment-3-60/
I also send you my "shell.self" backup through private message (because it contains Sony IP, it cannot be provided as public link). Use it at your own risks!

SilicaAndPina wrote:Hello so basicly for those who dont know henkaku 5 apparently breaks or blocks people with the Debug Utility shell.self mod from accessing PSN so because of this i was looking for a way to downgrade Henkaku 5 to Henkaku 4. another option would be to remove the debug utility but i didnt make a backup of my original shell.self so i cant do that, and i also dont want to.

Now first id like to credit a few people for helping me out here.
1st off is team molecule for creating offlineinstaller, and henkaku. then id like to credit @samiBenDhiab1 for providing me a copy of henkaku 4's henkaku.bin file located in ux0:picture
now thats out of the way:
so basicly what i have done is i have made a modifyed version of OfflineInstaller. that allways installs version 4.
the link to it is right here: https://mega.nz/#!8pVyETwS!CFhoCBzI6ai4 ... JVHqnpW_-o

basicly just download the VPK FTP to your vita and install it (on Henkaku 5) if you allready have offlineinstaller installed it will be overwritten.. now just open "henkaku downgrader" and press X.
reboot your psvita and allways install from the email app instead. keep in mind you can still use the updated moleculear shell app.

Anyway you can make this coexist with the official offline installer? Or do we need to reinstall the VPK each time? I don't have access to the internet all the time and use only the offline installer. With the OC v6 makes use of it is a must for most users nowadays. To have both would be amazing.

Seems this no longer works as the site hosting HENkaku v4 doesn't download anything anymore. Anyone got the files I could manually replace them with? Has been down for a few days I assume it isn't coming back up now which is a shame as HENkaku v4 blocks updating as well as DEX shell support. Can ANYONE help?

Just use the latest henkaku with the better Amphetamine plugin.

V4 has the savedata bug, and the debug features where non-existent as most just lead to errors.
Does it quit? If not, then it's legit... Too legit.

Actually the save data bug is easily fixed and isn't necessarily HENkaku's fault. I have been working on CEX2DEX mods with swapping a good majority of the os0:/ files my issue is the systems then need to be activated. The DEX features are very useful to me but I ditched this method anyhow. I set up a local server with HENkaku v4 and with XML mods have added it to the multitasking menu as well as HENkaku v6, PKG Installer and DEX CMA from my modified LiveAreaMenu+ mods. Only use v4 for PSN access. I use v6 for everything else.

Good luck patching that activation. If you do - then great. But for now and for a while I don't see much activation patching showing up since you must still abuse the kernel
