[FIX] Error C2-17770-2

Post by LaGaipaG » Fri Aug 19, 2016 10:09 am

Hi, first of all sorry for my bad English..
Sometimes, when you try to delete lpp bubbles from your PS Vita you receive the C2-17770-2 error. This happens when you use lowercase letters in the build.bat (thanks to @Vektast).
To fix the problem you have 2 solutions: factory reset your PS Vita or follow these steps.

1. Identify the package name (4 letters or numbers or both. e.g. lua1);
2. Go to ux0:app/ and delete <package_name>xxxxx folder (in my case lua100001);
3. Go to ux0:appmeta/ and delete <package_name>xxxxx folder (in my case same as before);
4. Go to ux0:license/app/ and delete <package_name>xxxxx folder (same as before);
5. Optional Download ux0: iconlayout.ini on your PC and edit with a text editor (i suggest Notepad++); just delete the entire <package_name> row (in my case lua100001=00000002 00000009), save, upload to your PS Vita in the same location and overwrite it; (Thanks to @Davenor)
6. Now turn off the PS Vita (hold power button for 2 seconds and press turn off);
7. Hold R button + PS button + power button for 5 seconds until safe mdoe menu appears.
8. Choose option n. 2 Rebuild Database, confirm and wait.
9 .Done.

Now your unwantend bubbles are gone.
Thanks @cearp for grammar corrections.
Cheers
