[TUTORIAL] FTPVITA VIA EXPLORER

Post by dmaskell92 » Sat Aug 13, 2016 2:43 pm

Difficulty - Easy

1.) Go to "My Computer", or "This Computer".
2). Right click a blank space under your C drive. and select "Add a Network Location".
3). Click "Next" twice and proceed to input your Ps Vita's FTP address. (Example - ftp://192.169.0.26:1337)
4). Click next and chose to log in Anonymously then click next again.
5). Name your new folder something you can remember and click next. (I used "PS Vita")
6). Click "Next" then "Finish".

Your Ps Vita folder should be next to your C Drive, your folder will stop working if the Ps Vita assigns itself a new address.

Pictures coming soon, although this is so easy you probably won't need them.

Notice, I don't know how to change transfer modes (Active/Passive) also I'm not sure if this will transfer a file one at a time which caused issues on ePSP. Use at your own risk, I'll still be using FileZilla.

The reason the ePSP FTP had problems was with the FTP server since it was iirc based on some very old code.
CB said why but yea its not that the ePSP couldn't do better its just no one ever made better.
