[Tutorial] Editing your app.db using Bubble Studio

Awesome! Thanks for the awesome editor!

Thanks for the app. It's really intuitive to use.
I'm on 3.18 firmware with Sport Motocross used to run PSX launcher and ArcadeDarts for TN-V. I'd like to ask a question regarding bubbles shown in the example screen:
1. How exactly did you create TN-V bubble? In the app I only see Package Installer and PSX bubble options after clicking "Add a bubble" button. Is there a separate tutorial for it? Also it would be cool if you would upload your TN-V images used in the bubble - less work for lazy people like me.
2. There is no way to create a bubble just for opening PSX launcher, right? I always forget the steps needed to exploit that game, so such bubble would be really handy
Great work and I'm voting for your tutorial.
edit: one more question:
3. What is the real name of the "FTP for Vita" app on your live screen (this one?) Can it be created with Bubble Studio?

I purchased Numblast from the Store on a friend's PS3 and transferred it to my PS Vita. Then I used the FailMail exploit to replace its eboot with TNV's. The icon for the bubble is created automatically .swit wrote:Thanks for the app. It's really intuitive to use.

Here's a tutorial from Hackinformer:

Unfortunately, there is no such way. If you want 1 click bubbles, I'd suggest using rebirth bubbles, but this is a very cumbersome process.swit wrote:2. That is indeed the FTP I'm using. It's just an ePSP FTP program, but you can create a bubble for it using the wonderful Bubble Blower.swit wrote: 3. What is the real name of the "FTP for Vita" app on your live screen (this one?) Can it be created with Bubble Studio?

Re: [Tutorial] Editing your app.db using Bubble Studio
Yesterday night I have pushed a new version of Bubble Studio.
If something broke with the new release, make sure to notify me about it. Thanks.
- You can now remove a bubble. Press the trashcan next to the accept button to remove it. It's untested but theoretically there should be no issues.
- The save page now includes buttons for both FailMail and HENkaku. The files are the same, but the filename is now correct for each firmware (so no more renaming #0).
If something broke with the new release, make sure to notify me about it. Thanks.

Is there a way to change the startup gate manually ?? since this feature is disabled currently
"Changing the startup gate is currently disabled. There are unsolvable issues prohibiting this action at the moment."

In the next release I'll put a button somewhere to enable it. Stay tuned.
Re: [Tutorial] Editing your app.db using Bubble Studio
Hi,
Great job on the theme maker; but is there any way to change the at9 audio? To make custom background audio. I tried going into /pd0:/data/systembgm and changing the home.at9 file but the FTP app won't allow me to make changes to these files. Since bubble studio seems to making changes to the default theme I am stuck trying to make changes to the default audio file which seems to have restrictions. Any advice on changing the audio?

Never mind I realized later that this method changes whatever current theme is applied default or any other one set.

I do not currently provide support for theme edits. I might consider it for the future, however, I don't expect to have much free time left with school starting soon.

every time that I put my modified app.db on my vita and reboot it just rebuilds the database and undoes all of my work, every single time! Ive been re doing this for over 3 hours and no luck.
