I have an idea for making an universal maildb that can create directories delete directories and delete files. EXAMPLE drag&drop '#' blank file to Thunderbird and then rename to '#createdir' and then in subject path to dir you want create 'ux0:/mydir' when i go home i will begin.

As you notice, the "#0" trick ("on download" FilePath change) doesn't work. We can still try the "/../../" trick to put an attachment and hope the email application will automatically recreate the full path but I have small hope too: to do it, you can try with Thunderbird the following path "\\..\\..\\..\\license\\app\\TITLEID000\\LicenceName.rif".
By design, the email application has no reason to create other directories than "ux0:email/message/XX/YY" and "ux0:temp/email"... And the image preview (email application feature with a flaw) is only designed to copy and open images on existing folder pathes.
I think we would have better chances to look for a flaw to create directory inside CMA application backup/restore or inside package installation process after download (which is used to install "PSM Dev Assistent for Unity") maybe by modifying "files.db".

Hmm "\\..\\..\\..\\license\\app\\PCSF00007\\7b3a73700b540886d29362b8996f6aa1.rif" is not working.OperationNT wrote:As you notice, the "#0" trick ("on download" FilePath change) doesn't work. PSP Installer can make modifications beyond "ux0:pspemu" (aka. "ms0") ?
EDIT: Ok, PSP Installer uses in fact a flaw on package installation from download (similar to "PSM Dev Assistant for Unity" installation but the PDB file should contain data for PSP game installation instead of PS Vita game).

Re: [TUTORIAL] Dumping files without limitation :D
Thank you for the tutorial, but is it possible to dump a whole folder with this method? Because even with the email trick dumping 40 manual png is long.
Re: [TUTORIAL] Dumping files without limitation :D
Very good question, but my best guess it work only file by fileDavenor wrote:Thank you for the tutorial, but is it possible to dump a whole folder with this method? Because even with the email trick dumping 40 manual png is long.
