Step 1.
What we basically want to accomplish is to set up your PC as a proxy tunnel between the Internet Connection and your Vita so we can "forge" what Vita gets back from its update servers. To do that, you will first need to Port Forward port 8888 on your router to your PC's IP Address. I've uploaded a screenshot from my router which is TP-Link and should be the same (similar) on all TP-Link routers.

I'm getting the error C3-12049-6 when I try updating system and when I go to PSN I got the message for update ... my location is MX someone can help?

Just so people know, you don't need to port forward for this. Just use your computer's name for the proxy ip adress.

I don't mean to be negative, but this seems like you did allot of work for something that ALWAYS gets patched after a week or so. It will stop working, there's many tutorials just like this with different firmware values. They no longer work and neither will this in time. I respect that you focus time and energy for the scene though.

Yeah dmaskell92, noticed that it got patched real fast indeed. Still new to the scene, figuring my way around Sony.
