[Tutorial] Connect Vita on lower FW to PC via Wifi -Improved

I saw Abdulec's thread and found a better method to connect to PC through Wifi.

Requirements:

• PS Vita running an older firmware (tested on the version 3.18)
• Wifi connection on same network as PC
• QCMA
• Vita Update Blocker

Steps:

1. Install QCMA (Download here)
2. Run QCMA, right click icon in bottom right of system tray and select "settings" then "other" and make sure offline mode is enabled
3. Set "CMA protocol selection" to manual and choose your PS Vita version in "CMA protocol version"
4. Run Vita Update Blocker (Download here)
5. On PS Vita, open settings and select network - Wi-Fi settings. Select network to connect to and goto advanced settings
6. Under proxy server select "use" and enter IP address and port number from Vita Update Blocker
7. Reboot PS Vita and open Content Manager
8. Select PC connecting to Wi-Fi

You can leave Vita Update Blocker running and proxy settings set so you only have to do this once.

Also if you haven't done so already you'll need to register your device and enter the confirmation code. Just click add device and select the detected device.

EDIT: Just tested this now but this method also works on my PS3 Slim running latest firmware.
