[Tutorial] PS3 CFW to Vita Game Download Guide!

Thanks to you, I am now running TNV-10 on my 1.81 PSVita, using the Talkman Travel Tokyo exploit, though I had to use a custom CMA protocol (version 1300010) for it to work with my really low firmware.

I used Rebug 4.65.1 along with SEN, everything went smoothly.

Glad I could help. Just wanted to save some time for those of us with a CFW PS3 looking for a way to get their Vita games.

Just an FYI, Rebug 4.65.2 is out, it fixes the PS2 Pad Sync bug and some other "stability improvements" as $ony would say so i would recommend upgrading to it.

One more thing. Reset and got my vita activated, so only ps3 is left to do.

Installed latest rebug and grabbed the sen enabler you used. I'm really confused about the sen enabler MAC and PSID files that you place on the USB.

If my console is NOT already banned, do I need to mess with these files or options in the sen menu? Do I even need to spoof anything? I'm just trying to stay unnoticed in the pan store while my download list transfers to the ps3, and then over to the vita later.

So everything went fine until the open CMA/Qcma part. I tried both programs and made sure the open CMA was modded.
Every time I try to connect w the USB cable from the PC to ps3, the Vita says I have to update the vita firmware, which I don't want.

I changed the qcma settings like u said. Had ot running and plugged in the vita. PC sees vita. Start vita content manager and select the game copy. Asks me how to connect, chose USB and then went back a page, unplugged and connected to ps3. Clicked ps3-usb and it asks for update.
What am I doing wrong?

Don't go back a page. Once it connects to the computer (and tap an option ie. Copy to make sure!) disconnect it physically from the computer directly (unplug the USB ), then into the PS3 (don't worry if it pops up an error). It should work fine. If you're still having problems, make sure it's on airplane mode, reboot and try again.

EDIT: I've edited the original post for clarity (thanks for that). Also, if your vita is <3.10, make sure the CMA Protocol Version is set to something low enough.

I just got it to work, and ironically see u just posted clarification. Lol. I ended up uninstalling the vita drivers and CMA and qcma, rebooted PC and started over.

Idk what i did different but it worked.

Only step that I didn't quite realize in your guide, was that when connecting the vita to the ps3 you HAVE to be connected to the psn on the ps3. I thought once the games were downloaded to ps3, that any future transfer of that game doesn't need online connectivity.

Anyway, I signed back on and transfered and I'm good to go. Now all I need is someone to figure out how to spoof higher required game fw version number onto an old few.

So I didn't have a chance to play anything after the transfer, until later on last night. I know for sure when I transfered from the ps3, I saw all the games and selected "transfer all", and it showed everything copying onto the vita. I didn't receive any error messages.

So when I'm looking at my Vita now, I see all the new games in bubbles at the bottom of the page, but i'm missing Fat Princess-Piece of Cake, and Talkman: Tokyo (that I grabbed in case I want to do the run psp stuff)

Why aren't they showing up? The other games that need higher fw still show up as bubbles so I doubt it's FW related. And speaking of that, I was going to use the Z's tutorial to manually update to 3.15, but his vita fw hosted site is down. Anyone know of a safe way to manually update beyond locating a physical 3.15 game?
