PS Vita UI-Overlay for Wallpaper-Creators

I made myself some Vita Wallpapers lately, and in this process something came to my mind:
It would be handy to have a preset with all the UI Elements of the Vita, so i can see wich parts of the Wallpaper will be covered by them.

So i made some screenshots on my vita and puzzled them together in a GIMP file.

What does this File include:

- each of the 10 App-Bubble positions (can be enabled / disabled separately)
(since the Bubbles are moving, i tried to screenshot them when they were mostly centered, but keep in mind that they are slightly moving)
- Screen-Indicators (they are different depending on how many Home-Screens you have)
- the Top Bar (with bubble)

What is missing in this file:

everything that isn't static, since it's irrelevant for wallpapers. this includes:

- the access denied sign in the top right corner
- the dropdown of the bubble (top left corner)
- the arrow that appears when you have an app open (center right)
- maybe more

How to use:

1. Open up the file with GIMP
2. drag and drop your wallpaper where it is marked on the picture below (make sure it is native VIta resolution or it may not fit - 690x544px)
3. select wich elements you want to display by clicking on the small eye in the layers-list

Image
(this image is resized, klick it to expand)

Why is the Overlay monochrome?

Because I'm not that good in GIMP yet, and it looked kinda strange with colors. This has something to do with how I removed the background.

Where can I download this File?

Right here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8kQ6 ... authuser=0

Offtopic Info:

When you set your own custom background image, everytime you scroll your screen, it will take a second to actually display this image.
You can't prevent this, the only thing you can do about this, is to first select a system-background with a matching color, then your wallpaper.
This means, if your background is dark, first select the black system wallpaper, then your own custom image. This makes it less ugly when you scroll.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try to answer them.

Thats it!

EDIT: I hope Tutorial-Section is okay, if not, just move it to General.
