This guide serves to instruct the viewer on how to set up apps and games that needs a "location" and example would be near and Destiny of Spirits, based on their router/modem. Do note that this guide needs your PS Vita to be connected to the internet through wifi. (<-Since there is no point in following this guide if you are connected to the internet through 3G). And also be reminded that you must follow this guideline using your own router/modem.
Requirements:
PS Vita must be updated to the latest OFW (Official Firmware)
PS Vita must be connected to the internet through wifi
For 3G/Wifi Models you must disable your 3G connection
Instructions:
1. Open your browser and go to this website: http://www.skyhookwireless.com/howitworks/submit_ap.php

[/spoiler]2. Scroll down till you see the map, then drag the red marker and point it to your current location.

[/spoiler]2. Scroll down till you see the "MAC Address" input box. (Do not touch the "Latitude, Longitude" input box!, since it will be filled up when your done with Step 2)

[/spoiler]3. Put your routers MAC Address in the input box. (To find your MAC Address, refer to the guide below)

[/spoiler]4. After that put your valid e-mail address in the corresponding input box.

[/spoiler]5. Input captcha in the "Type the text" box then press Submit.

[/spoiler]6. Verifying might take about 1 hour-5 days.
7. To verify if your location has been updated on the Skyhook server, try running "Near". If it has successfully obtained your "Location Data", then you are now good to go. If not, try to wait for a while.
8. If "Near" doesn't work, go to Settings > Location Data > and then check "Near" on the list.

[/spoiler]And also go to the "Near" app > Settings > Location Data > and then check "Allow "near" to use your location data".

[/spoiler]9. If "near" is all set up and is also retrieving your "Location Data" then all of your apps are also configured to be able to obtain your "Location Data". If not go to Settings > Location Data > and then put a check the corresponding app on the list.

How to find your MAC Address-
-Easy
--Depending on what modem/router you use, there will be a sticker indicating your MAC Address, copy that and paste it into the input box.
---This method is not highly recommended since it depends if the manufacturer did indicate that the one in the sticker is your real MAC Address.
-Average
--Try this program that I made: http://goo.gl/oNTCmr . This will retrieve your MAC Address based on your Default Gateway which will then be saved on a text file on the same directory where you unrar'ed the archive, after that put the given MAC Address in the input box.
---The major downside to this is that I am not really sure if this will work. I am not responsible for any damage given to you nor to your device

--Use an application called inSSIDer which is located here: http://www.inssider.com/ , it will undoubtedly give your real MAC Address. After that put the MAC Address given by inSSIDer in the input box.
---The downside to this method is that you have to buy the app before you can use it. (<-Really, is that really the case?, it's up to you to find it. I'll give you a head-start: google.com)
