they stopped making ps1 and ps2 hardware some time ago. The only thing they can do is build a deluxe model with CD reading and the PS3's cell (the PS3's GPU shouldn't be hard to emulate), and after that, PS1 and PS2 could be done by software. The problem here is that it takes a lot of work (and therefore money) to write all three emulators and I'm sure such systems won't sell much. Aside from the fact that they probably want to keep selling the PS3 even after the PS4 launch, and I'm sure it'll still sell.
