PS4 remote play is coming to iPhone/iPad

The developers are currently looking for BETA testers. I emailed them and got access to the app; its working very well - been playing Fallout 4 in bed, its awesome If anyone else wants to try, head over and get in touch with the developers before they stop accepting new testers!

Hello guys, I confirm it's real.

I contacted them by mail, then they sent me a TestFlight Link (the official way to Beta Test Apps on iOS) to install the Beta App on my Ipad.

In the app, just to put my Online ID then the code to link my PS4 and that's all, just 10sec !

We can chose 3 resolutions and 30fps/60fps.

For a 1st try, it's a very good app, we also have the sound perfectly.

The controls are OK, a tiny latency but it's a good beginning, for now, it's very usuable.

Just fyi, you don't need to connect a Dualshock 4 to your iPhone/iPad. In fact, it is strongly recommended to use Remote Play while the DS4 is connected to the PS4 because there is less lag this way. For this to work you need to set up sub-account, else the DS4 disconnects. There is a guide somewhere on reddit.

This looks really cool. When will it be released and for how much?

Also I wonder how easy it would be to play a PS4 game like this on your ipad because touching the R2 and L2 buttons come naturally with a controller but I'm not sure how easy it will be with an ipad when you're getting chased by a monster.
