here are the interesting bits:

Two possibilities:
A) it's true and this guy just stupidly revealed his secret before his product went to market. Sony can easily patch whatever exploit it is based on what he said.
Much more likely B) it's a lie because this guy knows nothing about ps4 and vita since he implies vita would see ps4 game files (moronic as processor is different). If called out on it he may claim that Sony found out and patched his exploit

Either way gamespot has been duped (not surprising given their track record) and this guy is an idiot attention ****. I want to see his exit strategy because frankly the koala fakers had a boring exit to their attention seeking

EDIT: didn't even finish the article when I posted this. This gem "the actual PUP files while the game is running" proves the guy knows absolutely nothing at all.

Uh.... wha? That signal can be seen by any wifi capable device.... FYI The PS3 does it as well....

While the claims made aren't outright lies, they have been grossly misstated. Some of the stuff (vita connectivity) was already looked into and turned up nothing really useful. There's already various methods that offer some form of limited access to the hdd. As stated in the article the games generally use multiple layers of encryption that changes game to game. Even if an easier method that grants full unrestricted hdd access was found (This alleged vita "backdoor"?)its still a long and tedious process that has to be tailored to each and every single game. This would be a really trivial fix for sony, i doubt this will see a commercial release due to its very limited usefulness. If your really going to go through the trouble of messing with save game encryption to try to enable cheats there's already much better (and cheaper) ways to do that.

If it's anywhere similar to how vita games and files are encrypted... Good luck to these guys
