Does anyone know if you buy the ps4 and have downloaded full games from the playstation network for the ps3. Will you be able to re download those games and play them on the ps4?

According to develop-online.net (http://www.develop-online.net/news/4447 ... S4-in-2014) there will be streaming of selected ps3 games onto the ps4 but the service wont be available at the initial launch of the system. The first region planned to support this feature is the US but no date has been given for this yet.

So I'll be able to play mlb the show and madden 13 that I bought through the playstation store on my ps3 to my ps4..all I would need to do is re download it? Is that correct?

no the PS4 can not play PS3 games PSN or otherwise

Sony is working on a way to "stream" PS3/2 games to the PS4 but as was mentioned it is still being worked on and will not be available on release and if/when it is it will be US only in the beginning

So in other words. You don't know. The only people that will know is sony. It's all a bunch of rumors and speculations. Guess I'll wait and see when the console is out. No offense but you said no then you said they are working on it. So that leads me to believe that like myself. Were not sure! Thanks for your comment though

like I said it will not play PS3 disks but it will "stream" the game from there server
in other words the power of the cloud is not just for Xbox
