they only innovated the wii controller, everything else is cheap (in terms of innovation), already-known, technology
That may be true, but they are able to mass produce it in most cases for much less than S0ny or Micro$haft, making it cheaper to buy the hardware. I will say that though Nintendo does have good ideas, just like everyone else in the game, they also steal the ideas and visions from other companies and claim them as their own.

not true, they in fact sell their hardware at a higher price:
- PS2: 100€ new
- Wii: 200€ new

- PS3: 200€ new
- Wii U: 350€ new

and don't dare compare the wii to the ps3, or the wii u to the ps4, it's like comparing original xbox to xbox 360

those numbers are from when the PS2-Wii battle was most hot, and even so it's not accurate as then the Wii would cost close to 250€

wii u is doomed to fail, way too expensive for what it is and not enough games to support it, most of these games are already on the ps3 and 360, which are way cheaper, Nintendo will probably end up having to make a new console if they really want to compete

I really wish Nintendo did the Sega. I love Nintendo hardware and games, but the Wii U was and will be an utter failure to me. I loved the GameCube, I loved the N64, I loved the SNES (and I even appreciate the Wii), but the Wii U? No. I think it's time Mario and the crew saw other worlds (consoles).

I think the mario crew should die, or be replaced by another company's similar character/playability
