Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
Did everyone see this? It was just announced. Coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. No release date yet. So I take it this means the Vita is effectively dead to Square Enix?

Yeah, pretty much. Though to me, it seemed like the Vita was dead to Sony the day it was released. Lots of promises, no support.
On the bright side, us running TN-V will be playing Type-0 on our Vitas. I'm downloading the English patch right now: http://www.skybladecloud.net/projects/f ... anslation/

I know, I was super excited when I saw the translation was done, but I've already updated my vita, and I'm pretty sure I don't have a working PSP anywhere. I may been wrong about that though. Do we know just how completed the patch is though? Like I've seen these kinds of patches before but there was always things missing, like side quest or items descriptions. Things like that.

I don't really care that Square Enix is making a HD port. If they wanted my money, they should have released it years ago. I'm satisfied with playing the translation patch. I'll buy a used copy of the Japanese PSP version to patch, but I doubt I'll buy the PS4 version when it's out. We shouldn't support such a bad company as Square Enix. We're just encouraging them.
I haven't tried it yet, but the people that made the patch say it's 100% translated.Niceneasy92 wrote:Do we know just how completed the patch is though? Like I've seen these kinds of patches before but there was always things missing, like side quest or items descriptions. Things like that.

Have been playing it for quite a while now, and seriously, the translation patch is practically professional-grade. EVERYTHING has been seamlessly translated, including items, scrolling side-text, etc. I am absolutely in love with this game, and give Operation Doomtrain all the props they deserve for making this possible.Niceneasy92 wrote:I know, I was super excited when I saw the translation was done, but I've already updated my vita, and I'm pretty sure I don't have a working PSP anywhere. Sounds like I really need to find my old psp and pray it's working then. I can't even begin to describe how long I've been waiting for this game in English.

It runs on PPSSPP emulator and with a good computer the in-game graphics are pretty amazing. Amazon has this listed as not shipping until Dec, 31 2015. I really hope its not that long
, I would shell out for this on my PS4 in a heartbeat.
Re: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
The patch is very well done but there are grammar mistakes, Nothing big tho and they are few and far between.

Re: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
Anybody can confirm if the merged iso with the translation patch is working on TN-V on Vita????
Re: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
Plenty of people are playing on Vita so I assume yes.
