Ok, I'm going to attempt to write the process I do.

I will be using Type-0 for reference.

I used the Steven Pboot, if you have problems where the game exits to livearea (after minis screen) use Steven's files.

1). Open Adrenaline EasyInstaller, advanced options, and Install Small Base game.

2). Press X to Reboot and enable Henkaku again.

3.) Open VitaShell, and navigate to UX0:pspemu/PSP/GAME/

4). Rename the NPEZ00104 folder to something easy to remember. I used FFTYPE000.

5). Navigate to UX0:pspemu/PSP/SAVEDATA/, create a new folder with the ID you created above (FFTYPE000), and Exit VitaShell.

6). Open Adrenaline Easy Installer, Advanced Options, and Update database (Don't use Rebuild!).

7). On your PC you need to Modify two of the .txt files downloaded from Qwik.
SAVEPATH.TXT

Code: Select all

ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/FFTYPE000/ARK.BIN
BOOTPATH.TXT

Code: Select all

ms0:/ISO/fft0.iso
8). Copy all these files to UX0:pspemu/PSP/SAVEDATA/FFTYPE000/ (FTP or USB)
Image
9). Copy these files to UX0:pspemu/PSP/GAME/FFTYPE000/ (FTP or USB)
Image
10). Use QCMA to backup the base game to your PC, then restore the game back to your Vita. (Or IIRC repeating step 6 would also work if you don't want to use QCMA)

NOTE: make sure The ISO file actually exists (ms0:/ISO/fft0.iso). I forgot to copy my ISO originally and got booted back to ARK, this is how I know it must be a path issue.

P.S. I have Kingdom hearts Birth By Sleep, and Type-0 working with plugins even, using this method. Hope I helped. Any other issues are probably related to Ark being incompatible, or maybe even the base game you choose.

Even with the instruction at beginning of page 6 it could not get it to work, the mini disapeared, the txt file instruction's confusing. "Instruction unclear, drilled hole into the screen."

Can someone help me with changing the title of the bubble?

I'm using PBP Unpacker to unpack Steven's PBOOT.PBP. When I pack it back together with icon0 from the PSP game and param.sfo + data.psp from Steven it works fine. It also works when I change the title in param.sfo with a hexeditor, but only when there are no spaces in the name. As soon as I add a space the bubble no longer works.

Also, is there a way to remove the EBOOT.PBP from the base game and change the name that shows up in the Content Manager? I'm using that snooker title from the EasyAdrenalineInstaller.

I use SFOEditor by Leecherman, for PARAM.SFO edits. Also no, you need the original Eboot AFAIK. I use bighead snooker, so it's no problem just to copy every clone at once.

Make sure you use the Pboot provided by Steven. Qwiks link closed the game to livearea right after showing the Minis screen.

The .txt instructions are just examples. You just input the path of your ISO in one text file, and the path of the savedata folder you created in the other.

Thank You! Using the SFOEditor you linked worked. It changes another byte at offset B8 in the SFO file that I didn't edit with the hexeditor.

No problem, I am having pure success with every bubble I created so far. I still await Qwiks installer though.
