Installing on a 3.36?

I've heard of many problems and limitations on firmwares above 3.36, but luckily I have 3.36 and don't plan on updating. What can this firmware do for ARK that the other ones can't? Which games are currently usable to install ARK? Does Pool Hall Pro happen to be one of them? Is there a turorial on installing ARK on a 3.36?
