Ark hanging on Running menu
Ark hanging on Running menu
I pieced together what seemed to be working Ark V2 files for Ape Escape on 3.36 by combining the 3.50 files with some 3.36 files. Everything worked fine for a few days but yesterday, literally minutes after I had accidentally closed Ape Escape, I tried to reload Ark and it hanged on Running Menu until my battery went flat. Tried it again earlier and same problem. Anyone have any ideas what happened?

Have you tried holding the power button until the device shuts off?
Have you tried recopying the game and save files?
I've come across that a few times myself, a shut down usually fixes it for me.
I don't know yet why that happens, I haven't looked into it since it doesn't happen too often for me.

Re: Ark hanging on Running menu
Hi there and thanks for the suggestions.
I did, indeed, hold down the power button but I then got the so called "Blue light of death". Managed to get into the recovery menu and restarted from there and then proceeded to re-transfer the files. I noticed that the file size of the save was smaller now which leads me to believe that somehow, some files got removed/altered.
Either way, thanks for the help, everything seems to be working great again.
