Issue Installing Homebrew HELP

So im having a issue with ARK im currently on the following....

-3.50
-WOP Exploit.
-ARK 138menu.

So whenever i go to install home-brew such a NesterJ i go to the install screen like normal, the files install fine however as soon as it gets to installing the roms, the screen freezes and glitches up. Its only whenever roms get installed what am i doing wrong? The following path im using is.

PSVita> SAVEDATA> *RandomSaveHere*> INSTALL.ZIP < Stored.

I'd try just extracting that install.zip and get the EBOOT for the emulator, put that into your savedata and try to launch that from 138 menu instead.
