CMA Corrupting Exploit bubble

Post by jk102393 » Mon Apr 13, 2015 1:16 am

Hi everyone,
I'm pretty new to the vita scene and I've run into a bit of a problem.
I got a custom bubble for ARK2 (Uno) and it works perfectly. The only problem is whenever I try to transfer files through CMA, the Uno bubble gets corrupt and gives me this message:

Cannot start this application.
You must download the application again from
[Download List] in [PS Store]
(C0-11136-2)

So I either have to restore my memory card or remake the bubble. Does anyone know why this would be happening or know a way to transfer my files without the bubble getting messed up?

Thanks so much and sorry if this has been asked before.

Remove the EBOOT & PBOOT from your savedata files (on your PC) after successfully setting up the custom bubble.

Re-transfering those will corrupt the games license, which then gives you the error message.

Thanks The Z
However I'm either not understanding your advice fully or it isn't working for me.
I removed every EBOOT in my savegames folders, but it still corrupted. I even moved all of my save folders besides the one I use to transfer files out of the folder and it corrupted again.
Am I supposed to be doing this to a specific save folder? Because I dont have an Uno save folder on my computer.
I'm just so confused

If it is corrupt, then you have to reinstall the base game and retransfer the EBOOT & PBOOT for the custom bubble.

AFTER the bubble is working, check your savedata folders and remove unnecessary files.

Retransfering them WHILE the bubble is working can lead to license corruption (which requires restoing the base game, to restore its license).

Right I've done all those things. As I'm typing this the bubble is working and booting into ARK. There is only one save data folder on my computer to be transferred. It doesn't have any EBOOT.PBP All it has is the normal save files like the icon and such and a psp iso.
When I try to copy this save though, it corrupts the bubble every time.

In that case do not re-copy the savedata file, since it is obviously the cause for the license corruption.

Just use another random savedata file, if possible one that is NOT one for your base game.

I guess that makes since since pool hall pro was getting corrupted the same way before I made the bubble. I'll try another save when I get home.

Thanks a lot

I usually use PS1 savedata files as "transfer folders", because that way I dont have to search all of my savedatas (since the Vita seperates PSP & PS1 savedatas in CMA) and it wont corrupt anything.

Using a PS1 save is working perfectly. Thank you so much man. You're the best!
