CD/DVD read files in MultiMan

I have question of corse PS3 read Movies ,games ,images etc when i load normalin XMB some cd or dvd - but i thinked in Multiman u can read USB,Internal HDD and i thinked
Can i example burn on DVD a copy of some files and in Multiman will show that DVD soem icon etc to open and i can copy that files example to PS3
Sort of any file like example on DVD wil have movie ,images ,some no redable ps3 files format etc
My point is that can Multi Man read PS3 disk inserted to load to show that
Of corse BR disk ,videos ,images,music shows normal in XMB but - the Multiman can read DISK inserted in PS3 or it ignore and only USB shows on Manager list?
