(HELP) PS 3 Hacking advice

Hey all. I was recently able to purchase a slim ps 3 that has ofw 3.55 on it. I plan on jailbreaking it. I would like to be able to back up my ps 3 games to my ps 3. The system isnt backwards compatable with ps 2 but if possible I would like to play ps 2 games on it. I would like to go online just to access the psn store to get games for my vita. What CFW would you guys recommend? Thanks.

Pretty much any of them that are on 4.70 or 4.75 (the former needing a spoofer). I guess maybe Rebug REX?

Use PSNPatch for PSN access and don't run anything not official while logged into PSN, plus some games look for things like the GAMES/GAMEZ folder and tattle on you... rough stuff.
Also, you need to be logged in for the Vita to let you copy anything, so if it gets the hammer (at which point your account may or may not as well) any new transfers are impossible.

If you do use Rebug, install the toolbox and enable WebMAN and Cobra, that will lay the framework for loading backups.

The Rebug site should have additional instructions for using WebMAN/Cobra for PS2 games, but be warned that the software PS2 emu kinda sucks. Never hurts to try it, though.

My biggest reason for wanting PSN access is for my ps plus games. I have a ton on my current ps3 system and Id lie to be able to access the PSN monthly to continue getting my ps plus games.

Most of the time people get banned from PSN whilst using a CFW PS3, so if you want both, get a second console.
