It can all be done on the PS3 itself. Just put in your Blu Ray disc, run Multiman (it will be named mMCM when you use a Cobra CFW) highlight the game, press triangle and then select "extract ISO" (or something like that). Again, it saves the ISO to PS3ISO on your internal hdd. You can either leave it there or move it to PS3ISO on an external hdd. Since you can't really access the external HDD with multiMAN's File Manager, you have to copy the ISO to your PC first, connect your external to your PC and copy it over.

Just be awere of the risk. I personally use it quite a lot, but i also accept, that i could get banned any time.
I can't tell how much risk remains using PSNPatch i just know that it went well so far.
The only safe way though, is to stay offline.
So, if you still want to do it, its probably a good idea to use another account, than you use on your Vita.
So in case of a bann, you keep your account with your Vita.

True! I guess everyone has to decide himself, whether or not to take the risk.

Yes you can but you should alway use PSN Patch to "disable CFW" befor logging into PSN.
This will minimize the risk, but there is no guaranty not to get banned.
So make the decision yourself.

Hm that's a problem! You won't like the following part:
If you are on OFW version above 3.55, you need to downgrade to 3.55 in order to install a CFW.
But the only way to achieve this is by using a Hardware Flasher like E3 (for NOR chips) or Progskeet (for NAND Chips).
Since your PS3 is a CECH-2001A (NOR CHip) you will need an E3 flasher.

Read this and this to get some basic Information.

I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but somehow i thought you would be aware of this.
