My Ps3 turned itself on

Okay so my psvita was turned off completely, and my ps3 turned itself on at 2am this morning and said something about remote play.
it was freaky does anyone have an idea how or why this happened?

You know, in all seriousness, I had this happen to a friend of mine the other night as well. Spooked her out. Probably just a bug.
