Were you able to successfully downgrade and install CFW on your PS3?

I'm on OFW 4.65 now and I want to downgrade to Rogero CFW 4.50. Should I go for the regular E3 Flasher or the Limited edition?

PS - I have a PS3 Slim. I was on 4.41CFW and everything was working great until I decided to upgrade to a new 1TB harddrive and install OFW 4.65 on it.. I assumed I could have CFW on one hard drive and OFW on the other and swap them whenever I want. I was totally wrong.. HUGE MISTAKE!!

Limited Edition comes with an e-Sata station for Dual- Boot. Other than that, there is no difference.
You could also buy the standard edition and use your own e-Sáta station, or buy as cheap one.
(it neeeds to have it's own power supply)

Dual- Boot is exactly what you were trying to do: One HHD for OFW one for CFW.
However this requires soldering , while a simply downgrade (no dual boot) doesn't.

Yes I did downgrade and install REBUG 4.46.1 REX.

I got the limited edition but I did not actually need it because I was only downgrading.

As ErnieBall said, if you are going to dual-boot you'll have to get an e-sata station.

Thanks a bunch. Feels good after hearing that I can still downgrade from 4.65! I don't really need a dual boot now, so I'll just buy the regular E3 flasher and downgrade!
