SERIOUS HELP NEEDED!

Hi Guys


OK, so my problem is with my PS3 launching games.

Know it has been working perfectly all day when I was playing FIFA and GTA V (ONLINE), But I turned it off for a bit and I switched it back on it was no longer launching my games. It reads the discs and they shoiw up on the XMB but once I start them I get a black screen for about 30 seconds and then an error message stating "An error occurred during the start operation" and wont go any further, I have tried all of my other PS3 games but the error message come up for all of them.

What do I do?

EDIT - Its the PHAT PS3 if that makes any diff. on ofw 4.60

Hold your power button until it beeps twice.
You'll start safe mode.
You can reformat, default settings, rebuild data base, and do other things. Save reformat as your last ditch effort so you don't lose all files and have start all over.
Maybe one of those options will help.

Thanks man, Ive backed up all my data so im gonna try the "reformat" option, its probably my best chance.

EDIT - I dont have an official PS3 DUALSHOCK Controller so it wont work on the Safe mode menu. Instead ive reformated it from system settings.
