Fan and broken ribbon cable

Hi there !

I have a problem with my friend's ps3 he's dogg puked on it, then he opened it and tried to clean it,
almost everything's fine now but in the process he teared out the ribbon cable used for the fan speed rate, do you think i can put it back somewhere else on the motherbroad ?

I had that plug come off my PS3 before. Here's how I fixed it
I got some super glue, glued the plastic connector back to the correct place and re-soldered the pins.
I've been using my PS3 ever since and have had no problems (about 6 months)
Does he still have that piece?

i did that with my lcd screen once xD

not im kind of scared to mod my vita that OLED is to valuable!
