Since yesterday I have a working E3 Flasher installed on my PS3 (cechl04).
Now I am in progress to get CFW on PS3 but I don't have a Dongle to downgrade.
Now I have read, that you can get to 4.46 CFW without a Dongle, but my PS3 is on OFW 4.01.
My questions now are:
Is it possible to update the PS3 with an USB Pen Drive and E3 Flasher already installed?
If i can, what must the jumper be set that the update don't affect the E3 Flasher? (The update shouldn't be installed on the E3 OB NOR
)Or is there even a better way to get CFW without a dongle?
My final goal is to get Half Dual Boot to work, but I am waiting for my HDD's to arrive.
Maybe this questions are a little bit strange, but in every tut I read, they update the PS3 befor installing E3.
I hope somebody can help me, I realy don't want to brick my PS3 after Day one.
