Need help reinstalling CFW

I was trying to install a custom XMB wave on my PS3, and when I restarted it, it says I need to reinstall the firmware.
So I got my 4.46.1 REBUG REX PUP and went to reinstall it.
When the progress bar reaches 99%, it hangs there.
I waited for over an hour, and nothing is happening, no HDD reading, no sounds of the PS3 thinking, nothing.
So, I turned off my PS3, and went to try it again, but the same thing happens.
Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT:
Also, I have an E3 Flasher installed too, maybe restoring a backup will work?

Restoring the backups probably he best bet. I'd go for the OFW assuming you have it, then re-install CFW.

If restoring a backup doesnt work, I guess Ill downgrade it again
