Disable exdata checks in PS2 classics?

Post by SMOKE » Sun Aug 04, 2013 7:20 pm

Ok, so I have a bunch of PS2 Classics I converted from my little brothers PS2 discs.
I have installed them via XMB PKG.
The problem is, I move the edat to the exdata folder, but it only lets me play it once.
After that, I have to completely delete the game and exdata, and then reinstall it.
Is there a way to disable the exdata check so that I can actuall play these games?
Thanks

Ok, so I just deleted all the PSN games from my external HDD, and installed them on the internal.
Now I have a new problem.
When I start the PS2 Classic, I get an error that says this:
dang Error wrote:The copyright protection information is invalid.

Any help?

ive only converted fatal frame 3, i was more on getting psp games to work
are you using the ps2 place holder or did you install the games as indivigual pakages?
my computer i was using for all my hacking died so give me a minute to hunt down the tools i used to to use, sorry if my knowledge is lacking or old or from the wrong cfw

i also run the newer 4+ rebug rex
if your running the first rebug rex ver., it wont load pn2 games from xmb because of a bug so do update if this is the issue

if you converted from ps2 discs it should be one package that installs,
what tools did you use for the conversion?
i used ps3 tool collection when i did it

i beleave there was a box to check to make the games playable by all users, this might be an issue as
and eating thrifty maid noodles because of it......seriously!?! off brand noodles.....ouch i got burned by tech support.....ouch........

I meant to post back here that I got it working last night.. I simply moved the rap to the exdata folder on my PS3.
I should have been making a new user named 'aa' and then using reActPSN to activate it.
After I did that, everything works now.
Thanks anyways man.
