PS3 Router?

Post by PotatoLaw » Tue Jul 09, 2013 4:03 am

For some reason, my PS3 becomes a router when I close it...

I don't know wtf happened... but I want it back to normal... meaning my ps3 not being searchable in the wi-fi section...

I was playing with my Vita today...

Nevermind, found the solution...

If you have a PS Vita...

System > Playstation Network > System Activation > Clear everything...

My bad :S

The PS3 can be linked to directly via a PSP/PSVita. For the PSP, this can be used to run ad-hoc Remote Play, as opposed to doing so via an internet connection.
It isn't exactly a router, but it does appear to the PSP/PSVita in a similar manner. You can even set the name of the "SSID" that it sends from the PS3.
