Bricked ps3

Hey everyone can I get some help and I turned my ps3 it turns on but there's no video or sound

Is your tv on and plugged in? Is your tv set to the right input?

I don't see how playing CoD can brick your PS3. Did you try to modify / install something major?

Hmmph, just check your cables (and TV settings then). Try to unplug everything and plug it in again.
