Slim PS3s consume less power, are more well-ventilated and have bigger HDDs (not that you couldn't replace one in a fat PS3). They're just generally more safe and bound to last longer.steam_power wrote:Im thinking about geting a ps3 but im not sure if its worth geting the slim,im looking at this one(http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/product ... sku=909117)

The new PS3s do not have the PS1 emulator. Only models a,b, and c models have the ps1 emulator but they are discontinued.ruyor wrote:All PS3 systems can play PS1 games.steam_power wrote:(i know it cant play ps2/ps1 games)
All ps3's can play p1's regardless. Some just lack hardware to play ps2 games.dementor338 wrote:The new PS3s do not have the PS1 emulator.
