Should I buy a new playstation TV or used for tn-v

Need help deciding which one to buy. If new, what firmware does a new playstation TV have? Or should I try my luck on used? Hope I have this in the right section.

i bought a new pstv in amazon, was on 3.35 fw, so i used the patapon 2 vhbl, and php tnv, using php as base game for the bubble trick.
