What am I doing wrong?

Post by chosimba » Fri Aug 14, 2015 11:03 pm

Ok,

I'm running OFW 3.15 and have TN-V installed. I'm using International Athletics (EU) and have managed to access the exploit and install 660.PBP.

I want to install Digimon World ISO onto my Vita now, so I transferred the ISO into the savedata. I ensured it was in all caps, was less than 6 characters and ensured I could see the file extension to prevent any errors, but despite this, when I boot up and go to 'Game' then 'Memory Stick', the ISO doesn't appear.

I know it has transferred as my available memory has dropped equal to the file size but I'm at a loss to explain why the ISO doesn't appear.

Anyone able to offer suggestions?

Well, you can only run psp iso's not psone iso's.

You're gonna have to convert your digimon world to a EBOOT.PBP file. I don't know the exact steps since i've never used CEF. I know psx2psp can do the job though.

That explains it.

I do have an eboot copy as well. Is it the same method to install this?

Thanks for your help :)

As I've said, i don't know the exactly how to do it.. All i know is that it has to be plased in a directory as follows:
ms0:/PSP/GAME/"Gamename"/EBOOT.PBP

That can be achieved by using ftp software or maybe some of the processes explained here:
http://wololo.net/2015/04/23/install-homebrew-tn-v11/

Maybe someone more familiar with CEF on the vita can supply with more useful information.

EDIT:

Spend 2 minutes looking through the stickies and found this, remember to check the stickies, they're there for a reason.

That's old TN V 10 supports ps1 or can use a ps1 exploit game Tekken 2 or Sports Superbike 2/XS Moto
use psx2psp to create the eboot http://downloads.exophase.com/198/psx2psp-v142/
install it like homebrew
