@digitalkid56:
Can you please edit HBLCONF.TXT within the VHBL savedata folder and set the VHBL directory to ms0:/VHBL/ instead of the default ms0:/PSP/VHBL/ and retry? Thanks.

nope, no difference.. Changed to ms0:/VHBL/ had to manually create the VHBL folder, in VHBL trying to run an INSTALL.ZIP, causes VHBL to freeze (can hear the sound stuck on repeat), but able to quit the app in XMB..

Thanks for the report @digitalkid56. Hope we can find an effective homebrew solution for 3.50. BTW did you try ARK? viewtopic.php?p=386453#p386453

I just fired up my Vita and tried the INSTALL.ZIP from VHBL (for the first time) and it worked for me. I'm not familiar with VHBL, but since it appears to get stuck around the EBOOT file, would it be possible to simply rename it and go in with VitaFTP and change the name back later?

Nope. After renaming the file back to eboot.pbp, the vita renames the file to whatever the file name was previously.

Can anyone on 3.50 TN-V11 try this method please? viewtopic.php?f=52&t=41034

Do not sign the .ISO, just put a .txt to direct the path of the homebrew to someplace other than /PSP/GAME, transfer the ISO and boot it from within TN-V11.

thanks.

thanks.

Just modifying other path to PATH.TXT (ms0:/PSP/VHBL/TEXTV/FBOOT.PBP) and Replace it , Remake ISO and run.

It works 3.50 tn-v11

VHBL Method:
You can also use VHBL for your homebrews. This way you shouldn't have problems saving your emu's configs, adding roms etc. Get the zip here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6I815 ... sp=sharing. Transfer the VHBL.ISO (put it in TNV_54321 folder) and VHBL01234 savedata folder (do not put it in TNV_54321 folder, put it into the folder where all your other PSP savedata files are, similar to how you put TNV_54321 folder while you setup TN-V11) to your Vita via QCMA (or FTP if you are confident enough.) Install the VHBL.ISO from within TN-V11 if you transferred it via the QCMA. After that you can install your homebrews via the usual INSTALL.ZIP method, but put INSTALL.ZIP file into the VHBL01234 savedata folder, transfer it to your vita and install it from within VHBL not TN-V11. You can prepare your own INSTALL.ZIP files or get the premade ones. Refer to the first part of this tutorial for that. VHBL uses ms0:/PSP/VHBL/ folder for homebrew access unless stated otherwise in HBLCONF.TXT. you can also transfer your homebrew to that folder via FTP. The VHBL was posted by qwikrazor87 in this thread, i just repackaged it and got rid of the patapon 2 save. viewtopic.php?f=53&t=41343
I'm using TN-V 11 with 3.50 Ape Escape, and I get as far as having VHBL installed. I have the INSTALL.ZIP file with my homebrew on it placed in the VHBL01234 savedata folder. When I start VHBL, I try to access the INSTALL.ZIP file located at ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/VHBL01234, but when press X/O to open that directory, the screen goes black for a few seconds then I get an error saying:

ERROR!
couldn't find any homebrew in
ms0:/PSP/VHBL
Please check your config file and/or restart HBL

Any ideas?
