If you use QCMA (and you should use QCMA!) don't forget to hit "Refresh database" every time you do anything with save files and\or game files. Also, make sure your .iso files are actually .ISO (uppercase file ending, I mean).
Image still didnt work....

I can't open UMDGen 4.00 for some reason. After I click on it, it shows up in my Processes tab for a few seconds, then disappears. I tried setting it to run in XP Compatibility mode, since that's the OS its readme says it's made for, but that didn't help (I'm using Windows 7). Anybody know what's wrong? Thanks.

Can anyone please make a VHBL ISO with the method i described and use it to install/use homebrews on 3.50? That might be the best way for actively using homebrews/emulators.

I wonder how challenging it would be to patch TN-V 11 to simply accept a configurable set of paths that it searches for games in rather than just searching for them in the usual place. If it's possible, we'd be able to simply create a directory outside the PSP directory in which we place the files.

that sounds like a good idea, maybe somebody with more knowledge than me can chime in on if this is doable or even worth the hassle?

If we're using your method, wouldn't we have to use HBL rather than VHBL? I'll try playing around with it, and see if I can get anything working. I'm just not sure how to add the files that are required by HBL.

I have a FW 3.50 PS TV. I can use VHBL method to install VHBL within TN-V11. However, fail to install other homebrews within VHBL by putting INSTALL.ZIP in VHBL01234 folder. When I browse to that folder, VHBL won't ask me to install homebrew, but show a black screen showing the following message:

Config file: (sth like this....)
ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/VHBL01234/HBLCONF.TXT

After this message, it will go back to VHBL screen.

Then, I tried to move INSTALL.ZIP to PSP/VHBL folder, and VHBL allowed me to install homebrew, BUT it just created a file without extension (its name depends on the folder I named under PSP/GAME folder, e.g. MasterBoy) and created QSP folder under root with many empty folders in it.

Anyone has an idea what's wrong in it?

@Singoo: can you please try to FTP your homebrews to m0:\PSP\VHBL folder and see if VHBL detects them?
