@Thirty3Three
Try uninstalling the TN-V files from the recovery menu then reinstall them. You know the 660.PBP thing.

I'd done that, and it didn't work. Thanks though!

And you got it, Z. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar bug after switching from TN-V8 to 9.X.

I had to "renew database" (or was it restore device to factory settings?) in the vita recovery menu to actually make it work again.

That is quite the pain in the ***, but it solved my problem of the XMB not showing any kind of "INSTALL.ZIP" files, regardless if they were present, not present, perfectly created or random archives.

Keep in mind that restoring your vitas default settings will unlink your PSN account and you WILL need a PS3 to re-link it for any firmware other than 3.15.

Hey, I'm not sure of the exact feature set of the cfw, but is there an ability to spoof a higher firmware version for newer games that require a newer fw? I don't think any games currently require 3.15+ but there many on the way in the coming weeks. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered!

No, there is not.

It is either updating the Vita firmware, or keeping 3.01 TN-V.

Hi, I'm new to the VITA scene, so I'm still not sure how everything works. Anyways I've been buying all the SMT: Persona games in the recent PSN sales, and of course P2: IS that I remembered was an exploit game for FW 3.01. The last time I didn't get it on time before it was removed, but that still got me to keep my VITA FW on 3.01.

But now I realize P2: IS no longer works because there is no way to transfer it to the VITA (via PS3 or OpenCMA) right? Looking around here and other sites I found that apparently Numblast™ PSP® still works, which would be great since it's only 35.3MB making it a much better exploit game than P2: IS. So does Numblast still works for TN-V9 is my VITA FW is 3.01?

Yes, Numblast works on 3.01 or lower

Hi, sorry to bring up this again, but i'm having problems with Dj Max Portable 3. I'm using TN V 9.6 in my vita running 3.01 firmware.
I can play the game for a while, but then the screen starts flickering and ends in a total black screen.
I've read a lot of posts regarding this issue, and adressing that the problem can be solved by changing the xmb clock speed, the umd driver and using an option from the recovery, but i can't find it.
Is there anything i can do to fix it?

XMB Clock Speed and UMD Driver can be changed on the VSH Menu (Press select on the XMB) It shouldn't be a problem with the XMB Clock Speed but with the Game Clock Speed.
On older TN-V Versions there was an option on the recovery menu called "Allow anti-CFW games", but iirc it was removed since it wasn't necessary anymore.
I wish I could help you more but I've only played DJMax Portable 2 (without problems on TN-V) and I don't have TN-V right now so I can't test DJMax Portable 3.
